MORE REVENUE, LESS TAXES
Barry's plan for maximizing revenue for the city
Beverly Hills should be more aggressive about sponsorships, partnerships, instead of squeezing residents.
The city should be generating more revenue by making itself more active, more business-friendly, and more attractive to visitors. The current administration's approach is one that screams “we don’t want to ruffle feathers,” but competition and private participation are exactly what generate more business, more attention, and more revenue.

01
monetizing our brand
The city is the largest property owner of Beverly Hills... it should manage its assets better.
Beverly Hills can turn its world-famous name into direct city revenue through official merchandise kiosks in high-traffic areas.
By offering exclusive Beverly Hills products available only on-site, the city can create a new revenue stream, give tourists a memorable reason to spend, and strengthen the city’s brand as a luxury destination.

02
more sponsorship,
more events
From monthly events that bring outside visitors into Beverly Hills to seasonal fashion shows, Beverly Hills should be running more purposeful, high-visibility events that bring people into the city and drive traffic into local stores, creating stronger customer bases four our businesses.
